Director, IT Governance and PMO

The Director of Governance and PMO is a key role with Alvarez & Marsal’s Information Technology function. The Director will assist in the development, definition and oversight of the project standards that IT will use to deliver initiatives across the enterprise. In addition to assisting in the management of key initiatives and programs supporting the strategic objectives of the organization, a crucial part of the role will be to ensure projects are delivered with a predictable cadence that is easily repeatable and transparent to our business partners.
The Director of Governance will also act as the ultimate source of project and program financial reporting, documentation, guidance and metrics on the practice of project management and execution; support the successful delivery of programs and projects undertaken; assist with advising managers and teams on the best use of project management disciplines and act as the first point of contact for any program and project level inquiries.
Key Interfaces: Corporate functional groups (Finance, HR, Marketing, Legal, Shared Services) IT Application Development, Infrastructure and Engineering, senior SBU leaders and 3rd party vendors.
